"I've always been drawn to the simplicity and sleek design of Elektra. I also really love the colour red, so naturally her costume has always stood out to me. It wasn't until I head about Netflix announcing their Davedevil series that I started to consider making an Elektra cosplay.
As odd as it sounds, the entire costume was made in under two hours, and was made entirely from scrap 4-way stretch wetlook spandex left over from another project. I had plenty of sai to choose from as a prop: most are fake (con friendly pairs) and one set is real, which we used for this shoot.
It feels great to wear this costume and it's great for summer cons! Easily a very recognizable character that you don't see cosplayed as often as she should be!"

"I've wanted to cosplay the Nuka Cola Girl from Fallout for a long time, but she kept getting set aside for other projects. Finally, I was able to buy this cosplay from pasteljellies on instagram, and it's quickly become one of my favorites! I think there's a lot of unwarranted hate surrounding cosplays that are bought or commissioned, and people really like to argue about it. Personally, I think it's great to be able to support other artists, and I don't see any shame in buying cosplays! I make most of my own stuff, and that can get super time consuming, so sometimes, I really enjoy buying stuff off of other cosplayers so that their hard work can continue to be appreciated in a new home!"
