Kahlan Amnell Cosplay

Geek Girl Princess Nightmare looks gorgeous as Kahlan Amnell in the Gardens of Aydindril from The Sword of Truth. Here's what she said...

"For those who read the books, it's a pretty close dress for Kahlan...those who watched the TV show are looking at this saying that this is Denna's dress not Kahlan's. I always use this dress to cosplay Kahlan because I really really loved the books a lot more than the show so I find that both this and the TV Kahlan dress are fitting. In general...I just like to be Kalhan, She is one of my favorite characters of all time. These are photos from two different days but same concept.

Confessors are known for being both powerful and lonely, two feelings I go back and forth between a lot which is why Kahlan is always one of my favorite characters to be, she is relatable to me, a much stronger connection than I have to most characters. Aydindril is what would be considered the main city of the Midlands in the novels. And there holds the confessors palace, the wizards keep, and central counsil meetings. It is described as grand and beautiful with extensive beautiful grounds. These photos were almost more than costuming/modeling/cosplay for me, it was a chance to escape into the books I love, as the character I love, in the home she (and I) love."

Athena from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Cosplay

Friscoblondie looks phenomenal as Athena from the upcoming video game Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! Here's what she had to say...

"Hi I am Tasha aka Friscoblondie. I have a special place in my heart for Borderlands, Gearbox headquarters is located about 20 minutes away from me and it would be an absolute dream to go tour their office one day. When they announced they were doing a cosplay contest for their new Pre-Sequel game I immediately jumped on board. I had just under three weeks to make Athena. I used Worbla, Eva foam, insulation foam, fabric, leds and a large amount of paint. This is one of the most difficult costumes that I have ever made because of the time restriction. Even though I didn't end up winning the contest I am proud of myself for this costume. I know I worked hard and I am completely amazed by what I accomplished and all of the other cosplayers I have seen that also entered into the contest. "

Black Rock Shooter Cosplay

Geek Girl Evie E looks sexy & badass as Black Rock Shooter! Here's what she had to say...

"Black Rock Shooter is such an iconic character, and one that I have wanted to portray for a while now. What really got me was the canon, I love big props and I havenít cosplayed that many character with props this big! My boyfriend helped me with this prop, because at the time I was also working on my Elsa costume and just didnít have the time to do both. He did a great job and I am so happy for the help. In the end the canon only weighted about 10lbs which was perfect for carrying around the convention.

Ailes Noir did a great job with her photos for this costume and the editing is just wonderful!!!"

Night Elf Hunter from World of Warcraft Cosplay

Oshley Cosplay looks fantastic as a Night Elf Hunter from World of Warcraft! Here's what she had to say...

"I was inspired to make this costume because the tier set represents my favourite memories in World of Warcraft. I am extremely nostalgic when it comes to my cosplays, and I wanted to share my love for the game by making the gear of my first WoW toon, a night elf hunter! (For anyone interested, it is the Conqueror's Scourgestalker hunter armour set, tier 8.5.) I have been a WoW gamer for eight years now, although Iíve slowly found less time to play as the years added on. These days I just log on to PvP (pwn noobs in battleground combat) with my photographer friend, Ryan from Vancouver Cosplay. We both enjoy our love for the game inside and out of the fantasy world... Of Warcraft."

Hollow Ichigo Cosplay

Geek Girl Shelle-chii looks awesome cosplaying as her female version of Hollow Ichigo! Here's what she had to say about it...

"Bleach was one of the first animes that really got me into the genre. Of course there was always the classics, but Bleach just had so much action and so many episodes/chapters, I just became utterly obsessed in no time. Ichigo is definitely one of my favorite characters from the series, though he can be annoying sometimes! But what anime protagonist isnít at times, eh?! The concept of having an Ďevil sideí has always held a certain allure to me, so cosplaying his Hollow side was something that I wanted to do. I already had the robes, so I made the mask out of an old halloween store base, and shaped and painted over it. We had a very small area to shoot in, so I had to get a little more creative with my posing, which is always a challenge that I welcome. Hope you enjoy!"

Lana from Hyrule Warriors Cosplay

smzeldarules looks gorgeous as Lana from the upcoming game in The Legend of Zelda franchise, Hyrule Warriors! Here's what she had to say...

"My penname for almost everything online has been "smzeldarules" since I was ten years old - "S" and "M" for my initials, and "Zelda Rules" because I fell in love with Zelda at this age. My dad was the one who made this name up for me, and it holds a special place in my heart mostly because of this. It was perfect for my personality, could be shortened to "SMZR," and I can't see me having any other username for any websites ever again. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was my first video game, and I watched my brother in awe as he played it when I was ten. One of my first cosplays was Princess Zelda in her Ocarina of Time dress, and I really hope to remake it one day with the new skills I have learned over the years.

This is my second Zelda cosplay ever. The new Hyrule Warriors game coming out includes this new adorable blue-haired girl, Lana, that I totally fell in love with the second I saw her design and battle sequence gameplay in the trailers that have been coming out as of recently. I plan to debut the costume at Fan Expo in Toronto, Canada, and enter the costume contest at Hamilton Comic Con in Hamilton, Canada with cosplayer "Chanelley" as Impa in her Hyrule Warriors garb, since the game will come out in North America around this time..

This is the most detailed costume I've ever made, and it was stressful but fun at the same time. I learned a lot making it and plan to improve my skills as a cosplayer next year with what I've learned from this, and the what I plan to make in the next years! After taking a five year break from cosplaying at conventions, I really am proud of myself. Especially since the game hasn't even come out in Japan yet, and it doesn't come out in America next month!"
