Maleficent Cosplay

Aime Jaze of L.A. JAZE Cosplay looks gorgeous as Maleficent who's played by Angelina Jolie the upcoming Disney movie! Here's what she said about it...

"It is from the new Disney movie, Maleficent, with Angelina Jolie coming out this May 30, 2104! It was a bit of a challenge working on this costume as there are very few reference pictures, mainly only screencaps from the trailer lol! But it is finished and both my husband and I are so very proud of how it turned out :)"

Rogue and Jean X Students Photoshoot

Geek Girl Northern Belle & Don't Panic Cosplay did this goofy & fun Rogue and Jean as students of Xavier's school photoshoot! :) Here's what Northern Belle said bout their shoot...

"This was a really fun shoot where we wanted to explore the idea of Rogue and Jean as students at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. We purchased the dresses at Silver Snail and decided to accessorize to suit our characters. In reality Rogue probably would still be donning the leather jacket to be more covered, but we also wanted to have fun playing around with their powers. Don't Panic Cosplay wanted to explore Jean's more scholarly side where as I wanted to explore Rogue's mischievousness. Sometimes it's nice just goof around with your best friend for a shoot and not take anything too seriously. :)"

Exclusive Star Wars R2-D2 Measuring Cup Set

WANT!! ThinkGeek always has such cool Star Wars, and especially R2-D2 stuff (we recently posted about the R2-D2 UBS Car Charger & the R2-D2 Soy Sauce Dispenser)! And now they've come out with this epic idea and released an exclusive R2-D2 Measuring Cup Set!!!

"One of the fun things about using these R2-D2 measuring cups is that you get to play like you're a Jawa. See, you found this droid, and in order to make it useful, you're going to have to take it all apart. Utinni! But NOT with your ion blaster. Sorry. And we recommend an apron for the kitchen vs. those brown robes with the potentially flammable cuffs.

This set of R2-D2 Measuring Cups disassembles into 4 measuring cups plus 4 measuring spoons and reassembles in a snap (fortunately, it's not as complicated as C-3PO). Each has its measurement written inside so you can't forget what they are and handles on the back that don't distract from R2's aesthetic. The only problem we can foresee with these is that if you show somebody else your R2-D2 Measuring Cups, you may have to install a restraining bolt to keep them from wandering off."

Dragoon Warriors Collection

Lillyxandra of Firefly Path is a truly amazing and creative designer. She created this incredible "Dragoon Warriors" Collection and here's how she described them...

"Dragoon Warrior Lore: The Dragoon Warriors are ancient feral women who inhabit exotic terrains such as underground caverns, mountain crests, misty lakes, and rolling sand dunes; anywhere far away from society where they can exist in blissful solitude. Their dragon blood makes them extremely territorial and greedy, hording the treasures they find. They often adorn themselves with lavish jewelry. Each of the warriors draws their power from one of the four elements: Earth, Wind, Fire and Water. Summoning these elements reflects in their outward appearance. Dragoons live three times the life span of a human. Their lastingness has given them a copious amount of time to master their own elemental magic, making them adept warriors. Despite their longevity, they are known to be short-tempered and easily thrown into a furious rage. Should an outsider find their self within the Lair of a Dragoon, one of three things will occur: the Dragoon might toy with the visitor, amusing itself with a predatory game of cat-and-mouse. The Dragoon might also send them to acquire and deliver great wealth to the Dragoon in exchange for their life. However, if the season is right, the visitor might befall the most dangerous of fates; the Dragoon might take a mate."
