Where in the World (of Movies) Should You Work?

Euroffice made this guide to some of the best, and worst, fictional companies you could work for...

No matter how much you love your job you will, at some point, have daydreamed about moving jobs. But, since you are daydreaming anyway, why limit yourself to jobs in the real world? Haven’t you ever wondered what it would be like to work for companies you’ve seen on the silver screen? Of course you have! So why not take a look at our guide to some of the most iconic companies to have graced the silver screen.

1. The criteria we used to decide which companies to include in our guide was simple: 2. The company had to be a significant part of the movie (not just a place where a 3. There has to be a clear corporate structure shown in the movie 4. We needed to believe that the company was sufficiently iconic 5. We had to have enjoyed the movie

One company that easily fit with all of these criterion is Monsters Inc. And who wouldn’t want to work with Sully and Mike Wazowski? It’s true that the company has gone through a recent period of upheaval, but if anything, this has resulted in an even more fun place to work.

The more technically minded of you may prefer to look into applying at Stark Industries. Once a major player in the manufacture of weapons, Stark industries is now one of the world’s leading energy companies. Of course, if you like your cutting edge companies a little more evil, then you could try Weyland-Yutani of the Alien franchise.

Unfortunately, we could not fit all of the companies we wanted to in this guide. So there was no place for the estate agents Glengarry GlenRoss or Bushwood Country Club from Caddyshack. If there are any other companies you’d have liked to see please let us know.

Nidalee from League of Legends Cosplay

Risa Chan looks amazing cosplaying as Nidalee from League of Legends! Here's what she had to say...

"Hi my name is Risa Chan and I absolutely love to cosplay. I’m based in Baltimore, MD and cosplay at cons all along the east coast (Otakon, Katsucon, ColossalCon, ANext, AUSA). In my spare time, I love playing League of Legends, and Nidalee was one of the first champions I started off with!! The cool dynamic of her human and cougar form really fascinated me and drew me into the game! I'm so happy I got the opportunity to cosplay this fierce and powerful huntress!"

Bayonetta Cosplay

MaggIvy looks amazing cosplaying as Bayonetta and here's what she had to say...

"Where to start? Well I originally wanted to do this cosplay years ago, when the debate of buying vs. making it yourself was an extremely hot and touchy subject. While I see absolutely nothing with going either way, I couldn't sew and I just couldn't see myself passing Bayonetta by. Instead I challenged myself to try and buy myself this cosplay. It was a huge pull together/commission from artists all around the world (from Argentina to the Philippines) and the results were pretty awesome. I've only worn her twice and this year I was able to finally get a photo-shoot done with Zealous Photography. I've worn her to Anime North and Toronto Comic Con and it was so well received. The positive response was amazing. Bayonetta is my absolute favorite character and I wanted nothing more than to cosplay as her. She was my second major cosplay and I'm happy I was able to pull it off with the help of many kind and patient people. I only felt that it was completely finished when we finally attached the guns to the shoes this year. I also realized that no matter how much of your cosplay you buy, in the end you will always have to put the finishing touches on."

Diablo III Cosplays

WonderWoman Cosplay and her sister look incredible cosplaying as a female Barbarian and Demon Hunter from Diablo 3! Here's what she had to say...

"Strong woman! That's what I want to be. And I'm a big Diablo fan, so I started to build my favorite character, the female barbarian. I was very proud how it turned out, but my sister looked so sadly at me that I must build the demonhunter. Now we can go together to every Con as strong woman 😊❤️"
