"This is one of my serious cosplays, Lady Galadriel from the Lord of the Rings movie, The Hobbit. This is my newest cosplay, and I have only worn it at its debut con, Animazement 2013, in Raleigh, NC. I chose to cosplay this character because I've been entranced by her since I was a child. I just love her characteristics and personality! The fact that Cate Blanchette had a fantastic wardrobe in the movies helped out a lot as well! Even though I was/am 5 months pregnant during these photos and con, this cosplay made me feel the prettiest I have felt in a cosplay ever. It has just been really cool to actually have a cosplay affect my self esteem in such a positive way that has happened at such an unexpected time!"
