Talisan Creations is turning their most popular patterns - as well as brand new designs - into pattern books so you can make your own adorable crochet creations. The Kickstarter aims to cover production costs of creating new patterns and in turn is offering backers the first chance to get the books at deep discounts. There are many flexible ways to back this kickstarter, with increasing rewards as more deliverables are unlocked by reaching funding milestones. They've already released their first booklet, and sample pages are available to view so you know exactly what you're getting.

The kickstarter is set up in a series of fifteen deliverables. Each new milestone reached unlocks another option which backers can choose at various pledging levels. They vary from single pattern booklets that have 3-4 patterns and megabooks containing 10-12 patterns. As an added bonus, the last two to be unlocked are the most requested non-chibi pattern books from the Etsy shop.

Pledging is designed to be flexible, with backers having choice of one or more pattern books and addons to get exactly what they want. They can also change their minds and add more as additional deliverables are unlocked.

The entire delivery schedule of rewards is set up front, with rewards being delivered as soon as they are completed. No waiting two or three years to get what you pledged for. The first deliverable is set one month after the Kickstarter ends, with additional distribution at regular intervals after that. There is even a pledging level to get the entire first year's patterns at one extremely low fixed price.

The designer behind this Kickstarter is Anya Hunt, who has been crocheting since she was a teenager. She has been making Pokemon inspired plushes for the Talisan Creations Esty store for the last two years. Armed with a Graphic Design degree, she handles the entire pattern creation process from start to finish: creating the pattern, photography, and graphic design of the book itself, employing an editor to make sure the patterns are as concise and readable as possible.

So if you crochet, like Pokemon, or just think the plushes are adorable, check this Kickstarter and share it with your geeky friends.
