Cia from Hyrule Warriors Cosplay Kandell Cosplay
looks beautiful as Cia from Hyrule Warriors and here's what she had to say...
"The bodysuit was hand patterned with the use of a duct tape form, and made of cotton twill and hand-made satin bias tape. I spent an entire weekend just making the bias tape, and then another weekend sewing it all down on the bodysuit/skirt. The garter, shoulder and hip armor were made with foam and worbla. The darker gold details (the waist armor and belts) were done by basically quilting stretch pleather over foam. Every gem in this costume (except the staff) was resin cast by me.
The staff was made with PVC, acrylic, plastic, craft foam, styrofoam, worbla, and worbla's transpa-art. It was quite the undertaking, and so far it's the most detailed prop I have ever constructed.
The shoes were done by first coating base heels in a layer of mod podge. Then I mod podged foam pieces onto the shoes to alter the heel and add raised details. When that was dry, the shoes got a final full coat of mod podge and were painted with acrylic paint and rub 'n buff.
This is one of my most challenging cosplays to wear, but I love how it looks. I'm a huge fan of cosplays that make me feel regal and confident, and this definitely does the trick!"
