Liberator Cosplay

 

This awesome Liberator cosplay was submitted by the lovely Rose Palmer! She looks amazing and we love the concept of this hero :)

"This photoshoot and cosplay happened by chance. A few months ago I was simply browsing the internet, and stumbled upon the already completed Kickstarter of creator Matt Miner's "Liberator" comic: a four issue series that dealt with human vigilantes determined to rescue animals from cruelty and abuse. This comic isn't about super-powered humanoids saving the earth from an advanced alien race; it deals with real life hardships that animals face every day!

I very eagerly sent him fan mail expressing my gratitude for him putting so much work into this series and expressed my want to cosplay as the main female lead, Jeanette Francis. After swapping some friendly dialogue, this photoshoot was born! With the assistance of the amazing photography skills of Casey Kwock and my best friend's rabbit Butters to shoot with me, Jeanette Francis and the meaning of "Liberator" was born into a photography medium!

I highly recommend checking out Matt Miner's comic "Liberator". This four issue series launches June 19th. You can pre-order it online or ask your local comic book retailer to add it to your pull and stock it on their shelves! If you love dark, moving tales like Batman or the Punisher, you're sure to enjoy this run...and even learn about the real life happenings that befall our non-human animal brethren!"
