Steampunk Lady Slytherin Cosplay

 

Geek Girl Princess Nightmare looks amazing in her steampunk inspired "Lady Slytherin"! Here's what she had to say...

"There is really not much to say here. The gown is amazing. The weekend and the day I got to wear it was amazing....and I can not stop using the word amazing.

First of all the dress and wand were made by the amazing Ms Aleta Pardalis. I got to do the crystals, which for me is the best thing ever ;-)

I got to wear this to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and I have included some of those photos.  During the night event I put on a little bit of make up…the other days none at all...I feel like I am supposed to apologize for that and the sneakers...but I was running around a theme park...so I am not really going to apologize for any of that!

Then I got the AMAZING opportunity to take professional pictures with an actual snake...which was nothing short of absolutely amazing. Those of you who have seen my Esdeath photos with Chase the snake already know I had a really great time (and got a lot of kisses!)

I think the very best moments I have had in this costume were all the kids at universal who wanted to take pictures with me or ask me questions about who I was. It was a lot of fun trying to explain Steampunk Lady Slytherin and they were so excited. Harry Potter version of a Disney Princess. Who could ask for more!"
