cosplay is for everyone and love, don't hate! This is what we have a always stood for here at Geek Girls and we welcome submissions from everyone. To us cosplay means showing our appreciation for the characters we love either through artistic interpretation, rule 63, fan service, crossplay or exact replica. We don’t believe there is a "right" or "wrong" way to cosplay or that people should be restricted by gender, size, shape, color, disability, age, skill level or anything when portraying the characters they love. Here's a few words from the artist about her message...
"Recently I have seen so much cosplay hate in the community not only in the US but my own country that it is heartbreaking. I want to send my message to the cosplay community specifically and everyone as a whole as a reminder that kindness and understanding are really necessary, no matter what we do."
