Krang from TMNT Cosplay
Geek Girl Mistress Zelda
looks super badass from Krang from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Here's what she had to say about it...
"Ninja Turtles has been one of my favorite franchises since I was a small, small child. There are photos of me 25 years ago walking around with Ninja Turtles, and I even had a TMNT themed birthday party when I was 5. I'm 29 now, but I still love them. This was my first TMNT cosplay (although I just finished an April and want to do a Shredder soon). Krang has always been one of my favorite characters. I've seen them epic cosplays, but I went for something a little "sexier" and sillier. I made a zentai bodysuit and painted it, built a corset version of Krang using a sculpt from Etsy. The metal head piece was made by my fiance and is held on with velcro. The belt was my first attempt at resin painting, and I was really happy with how it turned out - its such an amazing piece, it was a birthday present to myself and I decided to build a full outfit around it. JaW Images had these cool cityscape set pieces and we had talked about using them for Krang for months - This set is inspired by one of my favorite games, Turtles in Time for the SNES. In the first level (BIG APPLE, 3 AM) Krang is as tall as buildings and shoot lasers out of his eyes. It was sort of a silly, campy photoshoot and an homage to the cartoon and games. It's a really fun cosplay to wear at cons too!"
