Fall Poison Ivy Cosplay

 

Helena Steele looks gorgeous cosplaying as her fall version of Poison Ivy for her project! Here's what she had to say about it...

"It's me (HJ Steele) again! A few months back I sent you my second installment of my "Seasons of Ivy" project - Winter Poison Ivy. Today I'm sending you my first installment, Fall Poison Ivy. This was the first cosplay I had ever made myself and I'm quite proud of it - especially the boots.

With each version of Poison Ivy I've done, I've tried to focus on a different plant. While Winter focused on creeping vines and Spring will focus on flowers, my plant inspiration for my first version was maple trees. I've always loved the colors of that fall and I tried to capture the changes in the leaves with the costume. While on set for the photo shoot an older woman came up and asked me if I was a woodland fairy and it totally made my day!"
