Resident Evil 6 Launch Party

 

Article by: Leen Isabel IGN and Capcom threw a star studded event to celebrate the launch of their upcoming game Resident Evil 6 at Lure in Hollywood on September 28th, 2012.

Musical entertainment was provided by rapper Nas and upright bassist Miles Mosley. Fans were treated with a complimentary photos with sexy zombie babes, a zombie make-up transformation station and plenty of XBOX 360 stations to try out the new game on.

Later in the night, the incredible development team from Resident Evil 6 talked on stage to thank the fans and were available for photos afterwards. Many of the voice actors from the American release were also in attendance. Many attendees came to celebrate in cosplay either as game's beloved characters or as zombies, too! Geek Girl Leen Isabel attended the festivities in cosplay as Ada Wong in her Resident Evil 6 costume. Her highlight of the night was getting to meet with Resident Evil producer, Yoshiaki Hirabayashi.

Despite the occasional props of dismembered limbs, bloody animals and burned vehicles, the event was an overall elegant & fun affair.
