Red Queen from American McGee's Alice Cosplay

 

Bec of Hearts look amazing and did a phenomenal job on her Queen of Hearts cosplay! Here's what she said about it...

"My red queen cosplay was at the time the hardest thing I had ever made sewing wise. I'd like to say I learned a lot but it doesn't feel like it....well, other then patience's...... blood, sweat and tears were shed in the making of this cosplay, especially with my time frame. In the end I ended up cramming all the work into one week. Half way through the week I honestly wanted to scrap the entire project but thanks to Zandragon Designs for yelling at me not to give up I didn't and I'm really glad. At the time I couldn't find iron on vinyl so the gold had the be sewn onto the bodice. The skirt is done in 2 layers sewn together and the hands where old lawn ornaments heated cut and formed into shape so they could be worn."
