Sailor Mulan Cosplay
Cayden Vierra looks beautiful as this Disney / Sailor Moon crossover, Sailor Mulan! Here's what she said about her cosplay...
"For my first AKon, I really wanted to cosplay two of my favorite childhood characters: Mulan and Sailor Mars. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to afford both cosplays due to time and money constraints. Then the talented Drachea Rannak's Disney Senshi fanart went viral and Sailor Mulan showed up on my news feed. It was cosplay love at first sight! What I enjoyed most with this cosplay is that many of my girl friends also wanted to join in on the Disney Senshi fun and we had a beautiful group at AKon25!
This is one of the more detailed costumes that I have made. Aside from the Mushu plushie, tights, and shoes, I made everything myself! I sewed all the pieces of the uniform, attached a silk flower to a hair clip, and created the medallion for the bow from craft foam. I also sculpted a little Crickey to tag along in a gazebo with me at the convention."
