Tell us about yourself: So I'm the owner of Geek x Girls and I work on the site full time now. I spend most of my time either on the computer working, out playing Pokémon GO, watching geeky tv/movies and playing D&D once a week. My house is filled with geeky memorabilia and art. I have three cats named Six, Luna and Nova. I am an unabashed sci-fi/fantasy fanatic and a science nerd. I love sci-fi TV, movies & comics and I love reading/watching popular science books/documentaries. I'm constantly quoting my fav shows and some people in the 'verse just don't frelling understand the difference between Cylons & Cybermen. Wubba lubba dub dub! You might also catch me with a cocktail in my hand explaining what a gamma ray burst is or trying to explain time dilation. So I wonder about the universe a lot and I also wander a lot. I love travelling the world, discovering new places and meeting new people. Probably why I love going to cons and photographing cosplayers and also why I love epic sci-fi tales of adventure and exploration!
Have you always been a geek?: Yes. Without a doubt. Although when I was younger it wasn't always fun or cool to be a geek. I was picked on, but frankly I didn't care. I've always been outgoing and different so I just kept marching to the beat of my own drum. I was quite content as a little girl to just go home, watch Star Trek or Star Wars or play Nintendo. Oh and this one time I built a Time Machine out of a cardboard box.
Geekiest thing about you?: Hmm, that's a hard question. Much of my life revolves around geeky stuff. I guess my obsessive nature, that when I find something new that I love I dive in head first, learn everything I can about it, start collecting and watching everything I can about said fandom. Or maybe it's the fact that I started Geek x Girls in the first place? ;)
