"Arwen's chase dress was my very first cosplay. The dress was made by my dear friend Martina about 10 years ago. But being a teen I have been highly insecure about posing well and fitting, plus I still lacked the makeup skills I wished to call my own to create the look I actually had in mind.
After about 9 years of cosplaying, modelling and LARP I had acquired a new level of confidence into my acting and posing abilities as well as much more experience in styling myself. Because of that it was a passion project of mine to put on my very first cosplay in front of a camera once again, but this time, determined to do the character as much justice as I am capable of. I am forever grateful to Photodesign Josef Kristof for joining in to my idea and capturing this cosplay in the most beathtaking way I could have hoped for.
To me, Liv Tyler's performance as Arwen in the flight to the forth scene from FotR has always been the perfect amalgam of beauty, determination, compassion, elegance and strength. Growing up I found it very inspiring and even though other fandoms would bind my attention over time, LotR as a series and Arwen in particular always kept a very special spot in my heart."
