"I've quickly fallen in love with Harley Quinn while getting more familiar with the DC Universe (I've always been Marvel girl)! Although her newer re-designs might be more edgy, I felt inclined to capture the original essence and silliness of Harley Quinn in her classic costume. I designed my cosplay after my Kotobukiya figure, which is what inspired me to use rubber-coated spandex to give it a shiny look. The giant hammer was my favorite part to make of the costume -- it's made from a plastic trash can and broom handle :P Gotta love improvisation!"
