"Growing up, Roald Dahl was one of the first authors i ever remember reading, his characters are so imaginative and its so easy to root for them. Matilda (both book and movie) is one of my absolute favourites, and i identify with her quite strongly in her way of standing out from the crowd, her love of books and her independence. When it came to making this cosplay, everything just fell into place, from the perfect fabric to the right pair of shoes left only in my size. and walking around taking these photos brought me straight back into my childhood."
