It's Throwback Thursday!! Our lovely Geek Girls

Wandering Dana teamed up last year to capture these awesome Lara Croft photos! Here is what Roxy had to say about the shoot...
"Hey guys Roxy Lee here! Alright wow this is a way back play back, this was the first ever cosplay I was photographed in and fellow Geek Girl and co creator Wandering Dana shot it. This was taken at Wizard World Toronto Comic Con in 2012 which was my first ever meeting with the Geek Girls team and it was a major blast!
Lara Croft is one of those characters to me that as much as I love who she is, she kinda bores me at times. I haven't played much of the games except Underworld and Reborn, but I was and am a huge fan of the movies (I know lame to some but I adore Angelina Jolie as Lara) So I decided I wanted to cosplay her MY WAY!
This is an original concept Lara Croft, kinda how I see her, it is inspired mildly by Underworld AND the movie versions of her outfits. We had fun climbing stuff and doing some kicks and hiding in the underground, I really love getting into character so I walked around like a major bad ass all day. In this costume I made all the holsters and harnesses from scratch using leather belts and buckles, pouches etc, the top was actually my moms from the 80's.....yup lol. Special thanks to Th3 Rogue and Jody for the guns! haha.
Not gonna lie after cosplaying her I became more of a fan, I even do the british accent like a dork as seen in this video (My movie version cosplay also) Don't judge, I was an imaginative kid. Hope you all enjoy! ♥"
