Geek Girls with Celebrities
We thought it would be fun to share some of our fun celebrity photo ops whether posed or spontaneous. Enjoy!

Northern Belle Rogue:
For me, conventions have always been about meeting people who share in my passion. It is so inspiring and uplifting, and when they are people who not only share it, but were involved in the creation of it - how could I resist?! Sometimes meeting celebrities can be disappointing, I've been through that experience. The guest of whatever avenue is clearly attending because an agent told them to, or they were paid, but they have no real desire to interact with their fans. Don't get me wrong, I know everyone can have a bad day. No one person's interactions with a person should dictate another's. We all have individual experiences. However in my experience it is the celebs who want to be at the event and have fun with it, THOSE are the folks worth investing in. As such, while I have some photo ops that remain in a drawer unlikely to see the light of day, I also have two that hang in prominent areas of my home. In the first photo, you see me trying not to melt as Jason Momoa looks into my eyes holding Drogon's egg as a bittersweet moment of foreshadowing. This one hangs in the living room center focus above the television. In my hallway is the other, and there is a story attached to it. Those of you who have met me know that personally I try to avoid 'modeling' a cosplay, but rather prefer to be IN character. During this photo op I walked in and with my Vala accent walked right up to Christopher Judge lightly tapped his chest with the back of my hand, with a coy smile saying 'Hello there Muscles., do you mind dipping me here to make my Daniel jealous?" As you can see - he wasted no time. Amanda Tapping quickly joined in on the fun crying out, 'Well what am I going to do?! ...I'm going to make you jealous!" and she pulled the Cajun in giving him a tight hug. Don't we both look ecstatic? A mere fleeting moment for them, and a permanent memory for us. These are the kinds of interactions that can really solidify or tarnish a fandom. Big thanks to Jason Momoa, Christopher Judge and Amanda Tapping for being such lovely guests and having fun with us!

Gina G.:
I met Tom Felton at both FanExpo and Dragon Con in 2011; 10 years after the first Harry Potter film had been released. Those movies were one of the reasons I got into cosplay in the first place, and I've been a proud Slytherin since the books came out!Tom was one of the nicest people I've ever met, and when I got this photo signed at Dragon Con the week after we'd had the photo-op at FanExpo, I was surprised that he remembered me- though he was definitely confused why I wasn't blonde the second time around! He was super sweet to let me chat with him for a little bit, and it was easily one of my best convention experiences.
And yes, I definitely told him I've had a crush on him since I was 11. ;)

Critical Miss with Dave Filoni creator of Clone Wars:
We were at Celebration 6 in Florida in 2012, and my husband was debuting his Savage Opress costume. We are huge Clone Wars fans and we went to the CW panel that Dave Filoni was going to be in. By pure chance we were able to meet him in our CW costumes and he was genuine and amazing, and gave us some very nice compliments. He is so good with fans and is definitely worth meeting if you have the opportunity.

With Sam Witwer
Oooh boy, I have my flirty eyes in this shot. I love Joad's face in the background. Sam was lovely and so impressed with Savage he needed to take a picture of him himself, which was pretty cool.
With Jason Isaacs
First off, if Jason Isaacs is at a convention you are going to, try to see his panel. He was brilliant and hilarious. He is really great with his fans too. And even though our photo op was quick, he still made it personal for us, he welcomed us in by saying "Ahhh, the family" and agreed to fight over the walking stick/wand. Overall a wonderful experience.

Jenn Marvel:
These photos were taken at sdcc 2015. Every year I get to meet these amazing people at the marvel booth. The agents of shield have become like a second family to me. I love them all dearly I can't wait to see them again this year in July.
The other photo is myself and Sarah Wayne Callies at a industry party for NBC, I got to meet her and her co stars from the colony, and the actors from mr robot.
I had a really great time and got an awesome swag bag.
I hate photos of myself so I have tons of photos and encounters with celebs that I don't have photos of. I've met Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Samuel L Jackson , Colby Smoulders, mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Michael Douglas, Paul Rudd. Haley Atwell, Elizabeth Olsen and Taylor Johnson. They were all really great, Mark Ruffalo was hilarious and he's so kind.
Clark Gregg and Chloe Bennett are absolute goofballs i always look forward to seeing them every summer.
