Post-Apocalyptic Photoshoot

Geek Girl Mistress Zelda looks badass in another one of her epic post-apocalyptic shoots! Here's what she had to say...

"Oh, hello. It's me again. Mistress Zelda with more post-apocalyptic photoshoots. You may have guessed by now that they are my favorite :) I made this shoulder pad armor out of diamond plate, football pads, spikes and red sheepskin I purchased from an SCA vendor! I found the football pads at the thrift store (youth size) and have always wanted to make a pair of pads. My husband is an armorsmith and helped me learn how to dish out metal, which I then drilled and attached with Chicago screws. These photos were taken by JaW Images and vthreepio at Wasteland Weekend as the sun was setting against the desert. The baseball bat with spikes was also made by me, and the red one with bottle caps was made by my husband AT the event - he spent the whole trip making weird tools out of found objects for folks! At the end of the trip we used the baseball bats to smash fruit, and it was a lot of fun. My hair was done by Harley at the Body Shop and stayed up all weekend. The skirt is part of my Red Sonja cosplay and is one of the first things my husband ever helped me make. The bra was made on the spot out of duct tape - I had nothing to cover my boobs with and it was 1000 degrees, so I made them in about 10 minutes. Later that evening I discovered you could cut the crotch out of a pair of underwear and wear it as a bra, so that is what I wore with it during the evening - haha!"
