Minnie the Pinup Mouse Cosplay

 

Geek Girl J Ravensong looks gorgeous as her pinup version of Minnie Mouse and here's what she had to say...

"I never thought I would cosplay Minnie Mouse. I grew up a huge Disney fan but the thought never crossed my mind until I walked into A Goodwill store and saw this amazing top hanging on the rack. I instantly thought of Minnie and over the next 48 hours I made all the pieces to finish off the costume, including a matching handbag (which comes in very handy at cons where you need to carry stuff). The shoes were originally pink leather (also from the thrift store), but a little yellow Krylon spray paint did the trick  The whole costume came together as a Pinup version of Minnie and so we headed to Rick's Dessert Diner in Downtown Sacramento for the proper retro vibe. It was a pleasure working with Bill Reid and the staff at Rick's were awesome about the whole thing. "
