Princess Nightmare looks gorgeous cosplaying as "Danelsa" her Daenerys from Game of Thrones / Elsa from Frozen mashup cosplay! Here's what she had to say about it...
"I was very hesitant to post these. I had what I thought was a great idea, there is so much Daenerys/Elsa fan art that I thought why not use my own ‘art’ for fan art and do a costume. My wonderful Theresa and I set to work on it. All in all we put this together in a night. I would say we did a damn good job on that account! Originally it was a completely different concept based on a drawing I had seen and then it turned into something else altogether.
We made the costume. I added to my Elsa wig, we did the photos on one of my favorite sets of all time from Bombshell Pinups. as usual I brought an army of Drabbits.
So...so far we have Elsa, Drabbits, and Daenerys...so what could possibly go wrong....
I had a lot of fun with this but I have pushed off posting it because of the reaction some of my other shoots are getting, such as the Misa Amane shoot. It seems lately that there has been quite an issue made of my weight. It is very hard to explain to people that ok so I have big boobs, but I have been a swimmer my whole life which means my arms and shoulders tend to look big as well so in certain tops and costumes I look different. However, this is something I am extremely self conscious about, and a few of these give off that image. I know the costume I chose to do does put that focus on me being top heavy and because of that I was delaying for not wanting to deal with the ‘overweight’ comments.
So, for starters, anyone who is already planning on those comments and messages...please see this set of photos taken on the same day... Same day, same girl.
I do love these photos. I do understand ‘putting myself out there’ opens myself up for criticism. However, that doesn’t mean that I have to like it, and it does not mean that sometimes it gets to me. Right now yes I weigh a little more than I would like to...a few pounds nothing major. I am not a kid anymore, I am not a teenager or a 25 year old...I got older, it happens. Some days I don’t feel like I look good, some days I feel like I look great. Yes, I play in costume and put myself out there, no I don’t have self esteem issues, I know I am a pretty girl, however, all that said...it is never nice to have things said about you on the internet. It is a balance...I don’t want to be ‘a cosplayer’...I want to play dress up because it makes me happy...I have a following on facbook that asks for photos to be posted...so I do. Sometimes I feel like it takes away from me as an artist to post them, people only see ‘cosplayer’ and that is really not the best description of me. However...I truly do love to play dress up.
I am on an extremely tight budget this year but I do hope to get some more photo sets up this year. There are 4 or 5 pending edits at the moment and I do hope to shoot more soon
I ask of you all just to be considerate...no fat comments. I am still a start up company- it is stressful, running a fundraiser for NYCC is extremely stressful....so let’s lay off the extra stress this round. ;-)

Along with that I sell jewlery, goggles, little hats and lots more fun stuff."
