"So this year at Anime North, I wore my Jade cosplay on Saturday. I love the Mortal Kombat series, I grew up with the game and when the first movie came out I was obsessed with it. I decided this year at AN I would do another Mortal Kombat character since I did Scorpion last year.
I wanted to make something a bit more practical and realistic, I made the body suit, gloves arm bands and mask from scratch. The weapons are made from plastic tubes from the dollar store with some rope glued to the ends and then electrical tape over top of everything.
This costume was super comfy was easy to wear and make. I am going to continue on the tradition of Mortal Kombat cosplays at AN next year."
