Kirin Monster Hunter Cosplay
Equip: Freya looks amazing in her Kirin Armor from the video game Monster Hunter! Here's what she had to say about it...
"This costume is one I take out when it snows here, which is pretty rare. These photos are actually spaced a year apart! The costume took me about 8 months to make. It is mostly veg tanned and garment leather - the scaled texture was hand drawn on the leather with graphite and dye. I made this difficult for myself because I did not have a teflon foot (or knew that such a thing existed) to sew the stretchy leather. Quite a bit of it was sewn by hand because I got so frustrated. I'm pleased with it now, hopefully one day I will make one of the giant weapons from the game to go with it."
