Medieval Photoshoot in Norway

Zelda did this beautiful photshoot in this amazing and idyllic location! Here's what she had to say...
"I am a historical re-enactor with the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). I am also a huge Scandophile and was visiting Norway, Sweden and Finland with my fiance (Actually, he proposed to me where these photos were taken!) I wanted to take some photos while I was over there as the scenery is so different and unlike anything we have in LA - totally beautiful, historic and amazing. We visited the folk museum in Oslo, which has a bunch of buildings from the 12th-17th century. The buildings in the photos were traditional style homes in Norway, as well as traditional Sami homes, and one of the oldest and largest Viking stave churches in the world. The fact that I got to take photos with these things is totally mindblowing! I like how much I look like Snow White in the photos, and it's always fun working with someone from a totally different culture and viewpoint. I'm glad that Espen suggested that we shoot some photos here, because where else could you possibly find locations like these? I look forward to moving over there permanently - some really talented artists hail from that part of the world, and it's hard not to be inspired when you are surrounded by beauty constantly.
Actually, if you think that the Sami home has some resemblance to hobbit houses, you'd be right. Tolkein took a lot of his inspiration from Scandinavian cultures - Gandalf the Wizard is a character from the Finnish creation myth the Kalevala, and elves and Elven were based both on the Finnish language and facial structure (spend some time in Finland and you'll see what I mean). The Sami, along with the Laplanders, are the indigenous people of Scandinavia and their homes, clothing and music was a source for a lot of inspiration. While I have your attention, here is a traditional Sami folk singer for you."
