Forest City Comicon in London, Ontario! It was a huge success, seriously amazing for a first time convention...
"The Forest City Comicon shattered attendance predictions on Sunday at Centennial Hall and became the largest event of its kind ever held in London. The event featured costumes, vendors, panels, board games, and video game tournaments. It promised to be a celebration of nerd culture and the popular culture that surrounds it and it seems fans from London and surrounding area were eager to join in. When the rough numbers were tabulated at the end of the day the count of participants at Sunday’s event was a staggering 2,300 people. The attendance number was more than double what organizers projected. Read more here."
