Northern Belle looks gorgeous modelling this Kimono, here's what she had to say...
"Awhile back I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Gearpunk'd - a seamstress who favours the steam punk style. She designed four different Steampunk Kimono dresses to be shot with the cherry blossoms in High Park. The particular outfit that I got to wear was inspired by the Hellebore flower which you can see displayed on the corset. I personally love the black and red colour scheme together. The materials used included satin, twill, fabric paint, knit, plastic boning, bias tape and eyelets - and of course made to fit. You can buy the entire outfit in her store, or buy the corset/dress separately. You can see the others from this set on the Gearpunk'd facebook page. The latter dresses inspired by the chrysanthemum, lotus flower and cherry blossoms. She does many other geeky designs too and is even helping me build a new upcoming cosplay!"
