Songs of My People

"This album will be bursting at the seams with fannish themes: Pirates, Video Games, Sci Fi, Comics, Fantasy, Shakespeare, Anime, Science, Transformers, Dr Who, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Firefly/Serenity, and so on.  Take a look at the list of potential songs to the right (in the rewards column) to see what I mean!

Of course, with such a wide variety of topics I couldn't limit myself to one musical style, so expect some nerdcore, filk, wrock, dementia, and parodies of classical tunes, oldies, rock, musicals, and more.

The goal of $1250 will cover a basic album with 10 tracks, but there are more ready to be recorded if we surpass the initial goal.  Alternately, if you want to make sure a particular track makes it onto the album, you can sponsor that specific song (on the right in the rewards column).  The final album's make-up is up to you guys!"

Mouse Guard: Swords & Strongholds

"A two-player board game from the Mouse Guard comics—for guardmice, patrons of the June Alley Inn and their fans."

"Swords & Strongholds is a game invented by David Petersen for his Mouse Guard graphic novels. Recently, he asked Luke Crane (of Burning Wheel and the Mouse Guard RPG) to come up with some rules for the game and so we did!"

Every stunning illustration is meticulously scanned from Craig's personal, private sketchbooks, and the artist himself provides illuminating background information and notes.

We're planning for the book to be over 250 pages, approximately 11" by 8.5" dimension-wise (landscape-formatted), with a matte-laminated hardcover.

"This is it, this is my big start. It has been my dream since I was 5 years old to run my own company. I have been in partnerships, I have held key roles in other independent companies but it is time for it to be my own. Products I make, things I do. Time to make my own dreams come true. This is one of the most important things I will ever do in my life. This convention is huge and the best chance I have at a jumping off point. That is why I need help. It is the time for me to take a chance and to take that chance I need a little bit of help.
