Northern Belle looks awesome cosplaying as Arlene Fowler Bellefleur from True Blood! Here's what she said about it...
"True Blood was a show that I avidly followed, at least for the first four seasons. Now my interest seems to be waning, but there are still a few characters that keep my interest peaked - LaFayette and Arlene. LaFayette is generally a crowd favourite for obvious reasons, but Arlene on the other hand rarely gets the respect she deserves.
I love Arlene because quite frankly she is the only normal human in the show, and still manages to deal with more than most of the supernatural beings. I adore her sassy southern attitude, reminiscent of one a certain southern mutant I often like to play. One trait that Arlene has, that I wish I could emulate more, is her ability to speak her mind freely. This strong mother doesn't hold back when her children are in danger and it this loyalty and devotion that seals my affection for her. This was a fun cosplay, but I'd love to re-shoot it and focus on capturing more of a True Blood feel."
