"Growing up in south Louisiana, and being regarded by my peers as a bit of a weirdo, you can see how the character of Rogue would appeal to me. I have always seen Rogue as an example of a strong and assertive woman. She is good-hearted and courageous, and also possesses an unrivaled steely resolve. For these reasons she has always been my favorite X-man, and from a young age she was a role model for me. Because of this, Rogue has forever been on my list of dream cosplays. When I finally decided (after many years of contemplation) to take the plunge into cosplay, she was one of the first characters I chose!"
