Aspen Matthews from Fathom Cosplay

 

Nerdy Nereid looks gorgeous cosplaying as Aspen Matthews from the Fathom comic series and here's what she had to say...

"This cosplay has been a long time coming. Fathom was one of the first comic book series I really got into and a huge reason I started collecting. As a water lover and a lifelong competitive swimmer Aspen immediately appealed to me but I really feel in love with Michael Turner’s art and characters. I’m so happy I finally got around to cosplaying her! I spent 160+ hours making Aspen. I hand sculpted the pieces out of WED clay on a mannequin, molded them using Smooth-On Rebound 25, and then casted them with Vytaflex 30. After cleaning up the pieces I airbrushed them using BJB SC-94 and Angelus paints!.I sewed the swimsuit as well but that part is more self explanatory!"
