Sexy Zombie Photoshoot
The beautiful Duchess Silk
created this... lovely... disturbing... sexy zombie photoshoot! Here is what she had to say...
"Pin-up Zombie was based on a burlesque routine I developed. It was a wonderful mixture of swing-style sex appeal and gore-filled, (fake) blood-soaked messiness. Intended as a once off act B-Movie night, Pin-up Zombie became my signature act, and certainly my most popular and requested performance.
It was everything classic burlesque is not meant to be. I shook like I had a fever, I gorged on fake blood and jelly brains, I ripped off rubber gloves with my teeth, and dribbled bubbly red stuff from my mouth. It was all done to Richard Cheese's cover of 'Down With the Sickness', culminating with me dragging my finger across my neck in a very confronting murder threat. It was sexy; it was scary; it was disturbing. People were turned on; terrified; transfixed. I was rewarded with standing ovations; I had audience members yelling angrily at me to 'get a life!'
This shoot was less brain-chompingly messy, but no less gore filled. And, I'm glad to say, no less controversial. We went for poses that were purely pin up, then added blood and a demonic expression. I still have the outfit. And that skull. I break it out for parties every now and again. And let me tell you, when you go to a party basically covered in bloody rags and sky high heels, you always get attention."
