Asuka Body Paint
We are always happy when our beautiful Geek Girl
Elle submits more of her amazing body paints! This time she is portraying the awesome character Asuka! Here is what she had to say...
"This is the first time I have ever cosplayed Asuka and I have to say I am very pleased with the results. I'm so used to playing the character of Rei Ayanami that it was a challenge to display this character for me, however once I got into it I found that it was so much fun. Though she is not my favourite character of the series (I'm really loving Mari but that could just be my fondness for pink) and in the beginning I actually hated the character but in the rebooted movies I'm beginning to warm up to the character as her arch continues and you see more than an angry, self righteous character. She's dynamic, feisty and a fighter, going after what she wants without questions asked, which is admirable in certain circumstances.
Jim McAvoy did an amazing job yet again with this creation and after a close call with a fainting spell (that was fun) we managed to rally and pull off yet another wonderful body painting experience. His photography and artistry has amazed from the beginning and it's such an honor to act as his canvas as he continues to grow with skill and accept challenges."
