Jessica Rabbit Cosplay
Padawan Princess looks gorgeous cosplaying as Jessica Rabbit and here's what she had to say...
"For almost 30 years I've wanted to be Jessica Rabbit. When I was a little girl playing pretend with all my friends everyone always wanted to be a Disney princess "I'm Cinderella!" "I'm Sleeping Beauty" and then I'd chime in "I'm Jessica Rabbit!" My friends thought I was crazy. And as I grew up, honestly, I thought I was crazy too. I was too short to be Jessica, too curvy, too me and nothing like her. But as I got older I became more comfortable in my own skin and I also started to become more confident with my cosplays. So I finally took the leap and commissioned a dress to be made. It had to be perfect. I wanted a built in corset to ensure I could get the most out of my natural curves, I wanted to pick the perfect fabric that sparkled so much it blinded, I wanted to do this character I've loved so dearly justice. My costumer Jessica (perfect enough name right?) nailed it! And so at WonderCon 2017 I debuted MY Jessica Rabbit. It was the highlight of my year and has quickly become my favorite cosplay. These photos were taken at WonderCon by the very talented Michael Greening and I can't wait to shoot more with him in the future. I'm sure I'll be rocking this red dress for many cons to come! xoxo"
