"I did the shoot yesterday which was kind of cool because the official red carpet event was yesterday too! I spent a ton of time researching and sewing my cosplay! In fact everything you see besides the boots I hand made myself from scratch! This cosplay really pushed my patience skills as there's a ton of top stitching details on the vest as well as all the pintucks on the pants! Rogue One comes out this week and I couldn't be more excited to see the movie! Jyn looks like she's going to be a very strong female character for Star Wars which means a lot to me as I grew up with Star Wars all around me as a kid. Looking up to the female heroes of Star Wars has been hugely important throughout my life! It looks like Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is going to be so great and what's better than going to the theater dressed in costume? I hope you all enjoy my work!"
