In the boardroom: Batman vs Iron Man? Weighing up Superhero stocks!

Stark Industries and Wayne Enterprises have been named the most lucrative investments in the comic book world, according to recent research. Bruce Wayne’s empire was estimated to be worth a massive $170 billion, but Tony Stark’s company trumped this with a $210 billion market cap.

The analysis, carried out by financial broker Spread Co, calculated the share price and overall value of the top six companies in the Marvel and DC universes, as well as providing recommendations for trading on them.

Their research found that the richest companies were:
Stark Industries: $210 billion
Wayne Enterprises: $170 billion
Oscorp Industries: $100 billion
Lexcorp: $70 billion
Pym Technologies: $68 billion
Von Doom Industries: $35 billion

Share prices ranged from $2.55 a share for Von Doom Industries, right up to $612 a share for Wayne Enterprises. Spread Co Market Analyst, David Morrison, recommended buying shares in Stark Industries and Wayne Enterprises, as a result of their continuous and steady trajectory of growth and constantly innovating business models. On the flipside, he encouraged traders to sell their shares in Oscorp, Lexcorp and Von Doom Industries, following a spate of bankruptcies, deaths and a cosmic radiation cloud.
