"Although I normally cosplay Asuka, when I got my cast I couldn't help but jump on the opportunity to do a shoot as Rei. I tried something different, channeling the softer side of Evangelion and focusing more on the longing and sadness. I found an old church/youth group, and we used natural light. Merc Media captured the mood perfectly, playing with light and shadows. I absolutely adore how the whole shoot turned out!"
