Our Geek Girls Facebook Page Has Been Removed
***UPDATE! WE'RE BACK!!!!*** Still no idea how or why any of this happened but we're back so thank you to whoever fixed this!!! ♥
ATTENTION! PANIC! HALP!!! Geek Girls is having a crisis today, facebook unpublished our Geek Girls page with no warning and no explanation as to why. All we got was this notice posted in the screenshot below! As many of you know we've worked for over 5 years now to build up a fanbase of over 379K likes and now it is just gone in an instant. Our page was heavily moderated and we've always striven to keep our page safe, inclusive and free of any bullying or hate speech of any kind.
We have no idea what we did or what we can do now to get it back except wait. Literally the only option given was to click an "Appeal" button and that's it. We clicked the button and there was no form, no contact, no explanation, just a button to click. We are all really upset about it and scared because we have no idea why it was removed and Facebook is saying "Please keep in mind that if your appeal is denied, your Page will be permanently deleted." If anyone has any tips on what we can do to get our page back, or why this is happening, or someone to contact at facebook, please, PLEASE let us know!!!
