Merida Cosplay
FairChild Cosplay looks adorable as Merida Dunbroch from Disney/Pixar's Brave cosplay! Here's what she had to say...
"Brave is probably my favorite Disney movie, if not my favorite movie in general. Like most of the recent princesses, Merida is strong, brave, independent, and wants more from life than to be rescued by a prince and get married. She's feisty and full of spirit. I fell in love with her and the movie the moment I laid my eyes on it, and always wanted to be her or be like her, so cosplaying her was the best way to do so. This was the first time I tried using thrifted materials for a cosplay, and I'm so happy that it turned out so well for a reasonable amount of money. The main dress was made from an old king sized bed sheet, and the white trim was made from a pretty cotton curtain. I really amazed myself with what you could create just by recycling materials you may never have thought to use, and I'll be sure to continue thrifting fabrics whenever I can!"
