Powered Geek Box Review

They are a monthly subscription box featuring epic gifts for nerds, geeks and gamers. They deliver great gear and novelty items from brands like DC Comics, Marvel, Nintendo, Star Wars and Capcom right to your doorstep every month. Here's my photos and review of their box...

Here's all my awesome stuff! I was super excited when my Powered Geek Box arrived, it was even more happy because coincidentally it arrived on my birthday!! So it was really cool to get Level Up bonus presents. I guess the beauty of these boxes is it's like your birthday every month when they arrive! So now I'll talk a little about each item individually...

One of the really cool toys included was this solar powered NECA Body Knockers Joker! He's solar powered, so doesn't need any batteries, you just expose him to sunlight or lamp light for a bit and he'll hypnotically rock side to side. It's really cool and as you can see the sculpt is well done and detailed.

These nifty little additions are both fun and practical. First is the handy Batman Speed Bottle Opener. I'm sure Batman has one of these in his utility belt for when he bartends in between fighting crime, lol. It's good quality and on the back says "If found please return to Batman".

Next is the yummy candy!! The Spider-Man candy is delicious (I'm eating it as I write this, hehe), it's tastes like those sugary pastel Rockets candies (or I think they're called Smarties in the US). And the Super Pebble Pops were super intense popping candy.

This Retro Moustache Kit gave me a good LOL! I'll have to bring it to one of our next Geek Girls photoshoots and get some silly pics of the girls modelling these oh-so-sexy moustaches! :P

The box also included this cute Michelangelo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles plush head. I'm of course adding it to my massive plushie collection!

The t-shirt included features Stewie from Family Guy taking a sexy #selfie, lol. I love Family Guy and Brian and Stewie are my favourite characters so this worked out well. And I like the poking fun at social media aspect of the t-shirt design it as well. ;)

So I like all the stuff but this little Marvel Daredevil Funko Pocket POP! Keychain is my favourite item in the box! I'm a Funko collector so I'm always excited to get more pops or mini pops and I loved Netflix's Daredevil show! What's neat about him to is that his head/body move, most of my other tiny pops don't move at all.

In conclusion... the box was awesome! I had a lot of fun opening it, it's really great to get surprise presents. I would recommend this box to any geek looking for a fun monthly subscription box. The items are good quality and relevant to geek interests! And of course if you receive something that's not one of your fandoms you can always give it as a geek gift to someone else.
