Illustrator / Painter Ástor Alexander was inspired by classical masterpieces, and replaced the original protagonists with characters from The Legend of Zelda video games. The results are stunning! The first painting is called "The Beast and The Princess", inspired by "The Death and the Maiden" by Pierre-Eugène-Emile Hébert (19th Century French sculptor), the second is called "Hero of Time", inspired by "David with the Head of Goliath" by Caravaggio (17th century baroque Italian painter) and the third is called "Usurper" also inspired by Caravaggio.
