Mad Max: Fury Road Photoshoot

Geek Girl Mistress Zelda, Space Invader, Sameera Siddiqui and Greg S Gilday look badass in their Mad Max inspired shoot! Here's what she had to say about it...

"I was busy getting ready for Wasteland Weekend but wanted to photograph some of the costumes I'd been working on! They aren't fully distressed in these photos and will look better in the Wasteland. I contacted some fellow Wastelanders about using their cars and they were happy to let us, so we took them out for a spin. Pashur did amazing facepaint as usual, and the models all did a great job. The car owners brought out their stash of weapons too - the RPG! So cool. We have a ton of post apocalyptic weapons too but I didn't want to drive with them so they stayed at home. I put together this shoot for a photography meetup group I co-organized with JaW Images called Alt+3rR0r LA. It makes me excited to start working on my car over the winter :)"
