Bombshell Catwoman Cosplay
Michelle Brannon looks gorgeous cosplaying as DC's Bombshell Catwoman! Here's what she had to say...
"I decided around the time of MomoCon that I wanted to cosplay Bombshell Catwoman. It had to be ready in time for DragonCon. Once I was able to get a Bombshell DC group together, we thought it would be a good idea to set up a photo shoot to promote our cosplays for DragonCon. We set up with Eman Williams because a friend and fellow cosplayer had done a killer Harley Quinn shoot with him and highly recommended him. Naturally, being Catwoman I wanted to photograph with live black cats! I thought it would be a great opportunity to help out some black kitty orphans because they tend to have a more difficult time getting adopted due to outdated superstitions, which is a shame because they are such sweet cats and I see them as tiny panthers! So I contacted Winging Cat Rescue via their Facebook page since they were the closest shelter to me. They loved the idea and were able to provide Louie and Sookie! Carrie owned Louie and Sookie was up for adoption. They've told me since the shoot that they've had a lot of black cats being adopted which just thrilled me! Cosplaying is fun, but if I can use it to do some good, that's even better! My cosplay was a hit at DragonCon. I had several people wanting photos at the DC gathering and had at least 6 photographers wanting to do individual shoots with me at the Purrrrrfect Photoshoot. In this photo shoot, I wanted to recreate the original Bombshell Catwoman artwork as well as the upcoming statue. However, we made sure to do our own thing with the cats and the props we had. One day we'll be able to get all our Bombshells together for one big shoot!"
