Roxy Lee looks super cute in her awesome Harley Quinn makeup and closet cosplay! :) Here's what she said about it...
"Alright so this one was a fun cheeky last minute closet cosplay idea I played around with. I am a HUGE Harley fan, I know me and about a million other people hehe, I even have her tattoo'd on my rib cage, but I do not cosplay her very often as I always find it hard for me to perfectly embody her persona and spirit. As much as I love her she is very opposite to how I actually am in real life. Which might be why I like her! I truly do love her entire back story and being, her and the joker and their perfectly flawed toxic relationship. It is truly romantic when you dive into the deep end of it.
This concept came about when I wanted to do her classic makeup look for a test and felt that it needed a full costume to really get into the whole feel of it. I had red booty shorts and black stilettos and a really cute short silk black robe to play around with. I then just threw on a red bra underneath and a classic bedroom Harley was born! I like to feel this is Harley after a long day of shinnanigans coming home waiting for Puddin to get home for some pillow talk! ;) I imagine her getting ready all giddy making sure she looks as perfect as she possibly can for him. But of course, he won't ever notice...hehe. The entire face is makeup even the mask, I find i like doing masks in makeup more so than wearing actual stick on ones, it just makes my face able to emote more.
The great thing about a character like Harley is that there are absolutely no limits. She is so diverse that you can truly have fun playing around with her looks and costumes. There is so much free artistic range with a character like her and I feel that is why so many people love cosplaying as her. She can be exactly what YOU want her to be and still retain her character. I hope you like mine!"
