The Future Prophecy is a graphic novel and concept album that tells the story of Sara Simms, a superheroine who wields the power of the future of music. In a world full of ancient magic and dark technologies, her mission is to unite the people to save the city of Toronto from the villains of Bogtown Records. Illustrated by Arthur Dela Cruz, the first issue of The Future Prophecy graphic novel is free for the first 30 days and is available online and on iTunes!

The Future Prophecy - Graphic Novel

The story was created and written by Sara Simms Productions; the sibling team of Sara Simms, and Melle Oh. Sara is a world-renowned DJ, turntablist and electronic music producer, and Melle is a graphic artist and creative visionary. The two sisters are best friends, who have collectively produced music, art, events and multimedia projects together for over a decade. Inspired by the colorful collective of musicians who they encountered in the Toronto music scene, they began to create a project that would combine an epic story, music, art and technology, and unite musicians and DJs..

The leading superheroes and villains in the story are based on Canada's top musical talent. Each artist featured as a character has mastered their own unique sound, and their powers are directly related to their musical style. The musicians of 'The Future Prophecy' represent the full spectrum of sound, from dubstep to rock, to techno and reggae. Each issue of the graphic novel will be accompanied by a single composed by the story's characters.
