Artist Genevra looks stunning cosplaying as Batman villainess White Rabbit! Here's what she said about it...
"So when I first read ‘Batman: The Dark Knight #1’ and discovered Jaina Hudson a.k.a. White Rabbit, I thought to myself, “No. This is ridiculous, sexist and stupid. The girl is running around in her dang underpants.”
Being a hardcore Catwoman fan it was difficult to accept the lingerie clad “super-villain.” Although skin tight, at least Catwoman covers a majority of her vulnerable parts. White Rabbit, seemed to me, designed out of the boredom of male comic artists.
It wasn’t until I had to do a last minute D.C. costume and my beloved Catwoman (along with the other Gotham Sirens) had already been claimed, that I submitted to White Rabbit. During the process I learned to embrace her and at the least, appreciate her skills. Those being that she’s incredibly agile and devious. Somewhere down the road I decided to cope with the ridiculous corset and tell myself, it’s not so much about what she’s wearing but the fact that she could darn well wear whatever she pleases, because in the end she’s got a much bigger game plan than her attire. No matter what she’s running around the streets of Gotham in, she’s ahead of Batman, and that is worth a golf clap."
