Steampunk Poison Ivy Cosplay

Geek Girl Jillian Ryan made this beautiful cosplay based off fan art and do we ever love it! This Steampunk inspired version of the classic Batman villain is breath taking! She also wrote this tutorial on how to make your own steampunk/loli style mini hat. Here's is what she said about the shoot...

"Hardcore nerd for as long as I can remember. Worked at Gamestop for 9 years, have Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger tattoos, and was 7th in the Maxim Gamer Girl contest during the summer. Gaming and geeky ways are not a hobby they are a lifestyle. Currently running a Richmond chapter of the extra-life gaming charity where you game for 24 hours to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network.

I -love- Poison Ivy. She is damn sexy and just as lethal. This photo is based off of a piece of fan art by NoFlutter on deviantART. I fell in love as soon as I saw it and decided that I'd forgo the classic look for something more detailed like the drawing. I wanted to show that she is a classy sexy, luring batman and any other man she wishes into her arms for that fatal kiss ;). The costume was fun.... except for the evil demon shoes and the corset that was sadly a little too long for my torso. I made the hat by hand, dyed the stockings, created the wig by cutting, sewing and styling to wigs together and hand sewed the bustle and each little piece of ivy onto the costume."
