"Roxy here with another makeup closet cosplay shoot. This time I tackled a character I have done more than once, because I love her that much. Miss Poison Ivy. This concept look I went for was a more pin up beauty look than the typical Ivy. I wanted to also embody both Pamela Isley and Ivy in one hence the outfit and the neatly styled hair. I did all the makeup myself, I played around with color making it look a little poisonous and deadly but also sexy and glamorous. I wanted her skin to look as close to being real as humanly possible without looking too cheesy and the Ivy you see here was actually hanging Ivy I had found in my backyard. It is odd how every time I shoot a poison costume there happens to be real Ivy near by...maybe it is fate! I really love this makeup and am super happy with how it turned out."
