Videl from Dragon Ball Z Cosplay

 

Manda Cowled looks lovely cosplaying as Videl from Dragon Ball Z! Here's what she said about it...

"In the early 90's YTV exposed me to anime from Sailor Moon to Inuyasha. Dragon Ball Z was one of those and has always stuck with me. Last summer my friends decided to do a big DBZ group and I decided to be one of my favourite characters, Videl. The daughter of Mr. Satan this little spitfire was always a character I was drawn to. Though a simple costume she was a ton of fun. 

Her badge is made of craft foam and is just pinned to my shirt. The shoes are painted with leather paint and the Dragon ball is just from the dollar store and spray painted to look like a Dragon Ball. I wore Videl at Anime North for the first time and got to meet an adorable cosplayer who was a Femme Gohan that was so cute!! More people recognized me than I had expected and I was so happy to be able to have fun doing a character that I had loved since I was a kid! Cosplay is all about making my childish dreams come true!!"
