Kurenai Yuhi from Naruto Cosplay

Geek Girl Roxy Lee looks awesome cosplaying as Kurenai Yuhi from Naruto! Here's what she had to say...

"Hey everyone! Finally another photo submission from me yay! So this time I cosplayed as my favorite Naruto character Kurenai Yuhi. I am a huge fan of the Naruto videogame series and also the anime, although I am not caught up to the end (I cannot bring myself to watch it when I know it ends *tears*) Kurenai really always stuck out to me as she had a very maternal personality about her and was sort of a big sister to Hinata and her team more than just their leader. And I am the same way with my little sisters and friends. She was always protective and kind but would deal some serious damage when needed. I think the whole story line between her and Asuma was extremely heartwarming and romantic and obviously traumatic.  But she prevailed. She is a fighter and I love that about her.

This was the first costume I made from scratch, my mom and I made the entire dress from shards of fabric pieced together one by one then made the blouse and mesh after it was all pieced together. I cut up socks to use as my shinobi sandals and even made my own kunai out of cardboard and tape hehe. The headband was gifted to me from a friend however, thanks Jazmine! ;)

These shots are done by two talented and lovely human beings and edited by two equally as talented individuals all credited below <3 I hope you like it as much as I did wearing it!"
